Safety Resources
In our continuing effort to increase safety and awareness, the District Police Department has adopted several new technologies designed to relay important information and increase awareness for all who visit our campuses.
Students, faculty, staff, visitors and parents are strongly encouraged to sign up today for one, or all of our emergency alert/notification solutions listed below. Through education and awareness, you will increase your personal safety, as well as the safety of those around you.
Public Alert Software
Alerts with Rave
Delta's new partnership with Rave Mobile Safety allows district police to issue emergency alerts in a matter of seconds. Those alerts can be sent by email, text, and voice message, and will be automatically posted on the website and the College's social media platform.
You may sign in using your current Delta College email address. You will then be prompted to complete the registration process. You can update your contact information and choose your notification preferences.
In order to receive alerts by text message, you will need to opt in. You can do so by texting MustangAlertÌý³Ù´ÇÌý226787Ìý(CAMPUS). Please note that if you choose to receive text alerts, your cell phone provider may charge a per-text message fee.
Mustang Alert App
We strongly encourage you to use the freeÌýMustang Alert appÌýfor mobile devices. Mustang Alert! is the official safety app of ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ. It is the only app that integrates with ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ's safety and security systems. Mustang Alert appÌýprovides students, faculty and staff with added safety on the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ campus. The app will send you important safety alerts and provide instant access to campus safety resources.

The District Police Department regularly posts arrests, crime prevention tips, statistics, emergency notifications and general topics of interest. This social networking endeavor began in 2011 and has proven an effective and relevant manner in which to keep students, staff, faculty and visitors informed.
Campus Safety
Our Delta College District Police Department is here to keep our campus safe through a variety of measures including safety escorts! Students, faculty, staff, or visitors can call for a safety escort 24/7 via 209-954-5000, any Blue Light Phone, or theÌýRave Guardian app. If, for any reason, you would like a safety escort, for example, to your car from class or throughout campus, you can contact our campus police through any of the options above.Ìý
