Steps to Apply

1. Apply for Admission

Current Students

If you have enrolled in Delta courses in the past two semesters, skip to step 3.��

New & Returning Students

If you are new to Delta or have not enrolled in courses in the past two consecutive semesters, apply (or reapply) for Admission early to ensure you can register for classes!

The basic steps to��complete and submit an application are:

��if you don’t already have one.

(If you do not remember your username and password, select “Forgot” or contact support at 877-247-4836 or email at��support@openccc.net)
��Login-in and be sure your application is submitted.

Note:��Do not use your school email when applying. Use a gmail or yahoo account. You will need access to the email you use after graduating high school.

Please note that you’ll receive two confirmation numbers. If you do not receive the email with your Delta ID��within one (1) week, please contact��CollegeEarlyStart@deltacollege.edu.

2. Wait for Email to activate MyDelta Dashboard (okta) for access and to check Delta Email

You can only complete this step if you have received the��"Welcome to Delta College - Important information for New Students" email��from "ADMISSIONS@deltacollege.edu".

If you have not received this email please check you email spam/junk box on your personal email account you used to fill out your admission application. This email will take a few hours to up to one (1) week to be received.��If it has��been over a week since you SUBMITTED your application, please contact Admission, Records and Registration via email at:��admissions-followup@deltacollege.edu,����or e

Once you receive this email, you can use your new Student email/username��to MyDelta Dashboard (okta).

Activate you��MyDelta Dashboard Login

In order to access the MyDelta portal and your Delta e-mail account,��you will need to activate��our single sign-on service called MyDelta Dashboard (okta).��

To log into MyDelta Dashboard for the first time, click here: ,

Enter your Delta student email address (@ mustangs.deltacollege.edu) and choose “Reset via Email” and a link will be sent to the email address you used in your application for admission. Please follow the steps for creating your account (picking a strong password, adding a recovery phone number and selecting a security image).

After you have set up your password, log into your MyDelta Dashboard and access MyDelta�� by selecting the "MyDelta"��and accessing your email by selecting "Microsoft Office 365 Mail" from the list of items.

3. Complete the College Early Start (CES) Form

Before you can enroll in Delta courses, you must complete the College Early Start (CES) form. You must submit a CES form��every term��in order to be cleared to take Delta courses for that specific term.

Note:��You will need to enter the name and email addresses of an authorized school signer (a counselor or Principal).

High School Students��– Submit

Once you complete the CES form,�� it will be routed to your parent and then your high school signer.��Once the form is signed by everyone, please allow 24-48 hours for processing, excluding weekends.��

We will notify your school signer once your hold has been removed.

��

4.��Clear ENGL or MATH Levels (if applicable)

Skip this step��if you do not plan to enroll in ENGL C1000, STAT C1000, or other courses with a prerequisite.

To enroll in��ENG C1000��(aka ENG 1A) or��STAT C1000��(aka STATS 12), you must submit a level��clearance request��after your DEP/CES form has been processed.

You will be notified via email once your request is approved.

Note:
Other courses, such as ECON 5, MATH 38A/B, and ASTRO 1, have��prerequisites��that require you to submit your transcripts to Delta’s Admissions & Records Office��admissions-followup@deltacollege.edu��for clearance. See��for more information.

5. Register/Sign Up Online For Classes

CES Enrollment

Registration is conducted online only.

You may register for classes on or after your scheduled registration date and time, but not before.
Past fees and/or Administrative and Academic Holds must be cleared prior to registration.

If you need assistance while registering for classes, please click on the Live Help support icon within Online Registration in the��MyDelta portal or via LiveChat at the bottom right corner of the Delta Connect Center��webpage.

Note:��Make a note of your class��start date and��log into Canvas on the first day of class��or you may get dropped as a no-show.

6. I am enrolled in an online class. How do I get started?

If your classes are scheduled to take place fully online, they will be held in Canvas, a learning management system used by Delta College.

Log in to Canvas on the first day of class, check in daily, stay on top of deadlines. See��on how to login.
Check your Delta student email regularly for communications from Delta College and your instructors. See��.
If your dual enrollment class requires textbooks, Regional Education office at Delta College will loan you a copy for the semester, free of charge. Check with your Dual Enrollment Coordinator about the process for receiving your textbook(s).
